The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a free open gallery tour Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. A flyer and map will be available at each gallery. Participating venues include: Kimball Jenkins Art School, 266 N. Main St.; League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Gallery, 49 S. Main St., Suite 100; McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive; Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden, 236 Hopkinton Road; New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association, 49 S.
"The Wilson gallery, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, previously showed "mostly national and international artists," said Ryan Linehan, the estate's executive director.
"I always have people coming by wanting to show their artwork, but a lot of them don't have 20 or 30 pieces," Linehan said. "So I'm creating a community gallery where people can show two or three pieces on a rotating basis.
