Paulus Berensohn , known for his book, Finding One’s Way with Clay died last week. He was 84. For the last 40 years of his life he didn’t make any ceramics for sale. What he made he either gave away or gave back to the earth. I discovered his book at the library years ago and spent some time rediscovering pinch pots with my students. Berensohn began as a dancer with Merce Cunningham and Martha Graham. He was much revered for his quiet creative spirit and his dedication to all the arts.
