Digital photos are convenient, allow you to see the results instantly, don't require the costs of film and developing, and are suitable for software editing and uploading to the Internet. While shooting on film will always have a place in the world of photography, digital models have taken over the consumer camera market almost completely. If you own or are planning to buy a digital camera, this class will take you beyond point-and-shoot and help you get more out of it.

These are marvelous substitutes for rugs, in rooms where they might not be appropriate. I use mine in front of the stove, and when I go camping. I will be providing the primed canvas; it’s a seriously heavy weight material so it is unlikely to slip. In the morning we’ll be painting the canvas with acrylics so that they’re fast drying. After lunch, we’ll do any touch ups and apply the layers of high gloss polyurethane. If you wish to bind the edges I’ll tell you how to do it at home, once the surface is completely dried. I prefer the look of an unbound edge, but you may prefer something different.
