Together. Your fearless instructor will demo the fun and failures of cafe sketching while we all get to pretend this is how we live (or could, or should...) A guaranteed light deprivation buster....

Since the D word scares us all so much lets overcome the fear in a socio-psychological romp through studying the practices of other cultures, figuring out how to get our affairs in order, and how art can help us have a graceful end of life experience. Two Saturday mornings from 9-12 ...two halves of the course...participants will leave with a plan of action to conquer fear and have a good life from now on....

Visual Journey The Workshop Barbara Filleul March 17th 10am – 5pm Members $90 Non Members $110
Condensing what was formerly a beloved course at KJAS into an all day workshop participants will learn how to keep a visual journal, take better care of their interior life, wake up their visual capacities and slow down. Slowing down is the hardest part. A series of confidence building art exercises in a variety of media will be introduced during the day and participants will leave with many completed pages in blank page journals. Materials list will be provided ahead of time...Students will be encouraged to bring photos, memorabilia, poems, photos etc... Saturday 10 -1 and 2-5, Bag lunch or get lunch nearby.
