Winter Watercolor Landscape Workshop
Saturday, February 18 (Snow Date: Sunday, February 19)
10:00AM– 4:00PM
Instructor : Becky Darling
Members $90
NonMembers $110
This one day workshop is designed for the watercolor student who has had previous experience with watercolor landscape.  The class will explore landscape themes and instruction will be given in using watercolors to capture the subtle colors and feelings the winter landscape has to offer.
Students should bring the same supplies needed for previous landscape workshops + some salt, maskoid, and some white acrylic paint.  Students should also bring their sketchbooks (maybe even with some winter sketches!) and some winter landscape photos from which to develop a painting.  I would like for everyone to think about what you hope to gain from the workshop –be specific about the areas in which you want to improve. Jot down your thoughts on this and bring to the workshop.  Also, I would like everyone to bring in a previously painted winter landscape if you have one that you  show an area that is giving you trouble. You are also welcome to bring in one that you are pleased with! If you do not have a painting do not worry, just bring your thoughts about what you want to learn.   Please feel free to contact me with questions about supplies, etc. 456-3523  rdarling@conknet.com

PLEASE REMEMBER photos, a lunch, snack, beverages, comfortable clothing, and whatever else keeps you happy!

I look forward to seeing everyone, so get out there and sketch and/or take some winter photos!
