Wood Working

Split, Hew and Shave
Dan Dustin
Tuesdays, 6:00pm-9:00pm
January 17th - March 6th
Member $240 (+$40 material fee paid to the instructor)
Non- Member $260 (+$40 material fee paid to the instructor)

Called the “Yankee Zen Master of Wood” and natural story teller, Dan hips you to the “Way of the Woodshed” (split, hew and shave) that has made him America’s leading advocate of “let nature speak.” Create utterly unique handcrafted spoons. Students will learn to split, hew and shave wood, which is selectively gathered and prepared. The students’ spoons will be fired in beeswax and oil for a unique finish. These objects of art are one of a kind!
