All about You
July 5th - July 8th (4 days)
Discovering your medium and style of art is just the beginning of the journey of learning about what makes you unique. In this week students learn about creating art that matches their interest and personalities. From painting to clay, students explore various mediums of art to find their inner artist and showcase what makes them truly amazing. Its art and it’s all about you!
July 11th - July 15th
It’s time to explore and seek out the amazing wildlife that inhabits our shared planet. Are you prepared to create art and discover the world of incredible wildlife? In this week we will discover all the magnificent qualities of animals and use it for inspiration. From the spots of a leopard, to the brilliant colors of butterfly wings, student artist will find distinctive ways to use wildlife as inspiration for their work. Various mediums of art like paint, clay, collage, and printmaking will be explored. Get ready to go on an animal adventure and create some amazing art!
July 18th - July 22nd
Escape from reality and celebrate the realms of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and mythology through creative art projects and fantastic costumes. For one week only, a series of magical events will happen at Kimball Jenkins School of art! Come witness wizards casting magical spells with fairies flying through the gardens, as gallant knights battle fearless dragons. Discover alien lifeforms and creatures from parallel universes and distant galaxies far, far away. Create your own time travelling devices and robots to save the universe. Take time, and if you are brave enough, go on ghost hunts through the school mansion and see what creatures are hiding in the rafters of the attic.
July 25th - July 29th
Students get to expand their knowledge and creative abilities as artist as they explore the art studios at Kimball Jenkins School of Art! In this week students get to try out a variety of art styles and mediums. From painting, printmaking, collage, and drawing, to sculpture and ceramics, students will have the opportunity to create some truly incredible art. If you love art, you will be amazed at the masterpieces you will be creating during this week of studio art.
Comics and Manga
August 1st - August 5th
In this week students learn how to draw and create their own comics and cartoons. From Marvel Super Heroes to Disney princesses, as well as Star Wars, Minecraft, Pokemon and manga characters, we will have fun creating in a week of celebrating the amazing animation, crazy cartoons, and heroic comics we all love. Let’s bring your characters and heroes to life with art. Are you ready for the adventure true believers? Well let’s go!
Great Artist Week
August 8th - August 12th
Be the next great artist! In this week the students get to explore and learn about the masterpieces of the artist we admire like Monet, Pollock, Van Gogh, O’keeffe, and Picasso. Different mediums will be introduced, as well as different art forms and styles, which will allow students to improve their artistic abilities and learn about the amazing world of art. From paint to clay and everything in between, students will get to have fun creating wonderful art and celebrating the great artist we all know and love. If you ever wanted to paint and draw like the masters then this is the week for you.
Tuition Refund and Rescheduling Policies
Full tuition must accompany your application for registration (with the exception of students applying for tuition assistance.) A $20 non-refundable registration fee will be charged to students being refunded for classes, camps and workshops. A full refund will be granted to students whose class/workshop is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Members $235 per week
Non-members $255 per week
Will we be working with clay?
Students will complete a minimum of 2 clay projects every week.
How do I register?
The Kimball-Jenkins office is open for registration weekdays from 9 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Please call 225-3932 or stop by our campus at 266 N. Main Street to register!
Registration is ongoing as long as space is available.
I work until 5:00, but the program ends at 3:00. Are there any after camp activities?
Yes! Kimball-Jenkins offers after camp supervision from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM, for an additional $40 a week or $10 per day.
Before-care can also be arranged beginning at 8 AM. $5 per day or $20 per week.
Arrangements for before or after-care should be made through the office prior to the start of the week.
Will my 6 year old be in the same class as 13 year olds?
No! Each week has a common theme, but the camp is divided by age group so that the projects and instruction will be age appropriate, challenging, and fun. Instructors will tailor the program to individual students as much as possible, depending on their previous artistic experience. Children must have already been enrolled in a full-day kindergarten or first grade program.
What does my child need to bring?
Your child should wear clothes they don't mind getting wet or dirty. A bag lunch (refrigeration is available), sunscreen and any medication he or she might need.
