Creations from Down Under
July 7th -11th
$200 It's all about Australia this week as billylids and tykes head down under and learn how to speak like the Aussies. Go for a dive to paint an enormous Great Barrier Reef and make underwater creatures with clay to inhabit it. Then head above water to build large sculptures of unique animals from down under like the koala bear, kangaroo, and Tasmanian devil. Our soundtrack for Australia week will include modern Aussie favorites like Yothu Yindi, Aboriginal music, and songs on the didgeridoo.
Fun, Funky, Fantastical!
July 14th -18th
$200 Find new ways to paint this week as we use unusual tools to create giant splatter paintings and spin art. Paint by number with your feet! Play on the pottery wheel with the guidance of a professional ceramicist. Create the perfect princess tiara or mad hatter hat for our end of the week dance party gala. Then dig deep in our costume box to find a matching outfit! You'll also make a clay teacup and plate for the party so you can taste the food sculptures created by other kids!
Capes , Crowns, and Superpowers

$200 Bring favorites like Spiderman, Pokemon, and Cinderella to life this week for theater that brings characters together with newly invented plots. We'll develop the plot for a new magical adventure and create a storybook. Books will be illustrated with photographs staged using costumes, backgrounds, and props. Students will be involved in the book making process at every step and leave the week with a beautiful storybook of their own!
