Begin the year by learning about keeping an illustrated Nature Journal!
This series of classes will meet once a month for 4 sessions.  The focus will be on creating a unique, individual Nature Journal.  Instruction will be given in various drawing and watercolor techniques and designing the journal page.  There will be ideas given for writing to accompany the art for those who are so inclined but writing is not a requirement.

We will look at different types of Nature Journals for inspiration as well as Nature writers and artists. Each class includes a time for sharing work done in class and work done outside of class. We learn much and are inspired by each other .

For questions about the class, call Becky Darling, 456-3523.

June 25th & 26
10am - 4pm
Members $160
Non Members $180

This workshop will explore the process of creating “one-off” prints. Monotype is the process of applying ink to a printing plate, manipulating the ink to create an image, and transferring the image to paper using a press or other type of pressure. With an emphasis on improvisation, we will be creating prints that explore the more painterly aspects of printmaking. The two day workshop will teach various techniques, both with and without a printing press. Monotype is the least technically involved of the printmaking processes, and students will be able to explore all of the techniques to create a unique set of prints based around their own ideas and imagery.
