I’m always impressed by huge works of art but I find the ones I want to own tend to be very small. I just want to tuck Isaac Cordal’s work under my arm and take it home. The sculptures serve for the artist as a reflection on politics, bureaucracy and power. They can be found in urban spaces…on top of bus shelters and cornices and can go unnoticed due to their diminutive size. They have been seen in Brussels, London, Berlin, Zagreb, San Jose, Barcelona and many other cities. They remind me of the ‘grey men’ from Momo by Michael Ende.
