Woven Rocks with Jean Reed (one-day) - 10/9
Jean share her weaving knowledge with you, allowing you to create your own Zen-like patterns on rocks.
This is a wonderful way to embellish rocks you may have picked up on the trails or at beaches, during your travels. Some of Jean's rocks have come all the way from Ireland.
Some rocks gathered from a New Hampshire river bed will be supplied to you, along with all the materials and tools needed to create unique weaving patterns. I do urge you to bring rocks of your own and branches (twisted grapevine is great). Keep in mind as you collect rocks, that no shape or size should be overlooked. As you can see from the photos, I’ve used a variety of large (5-6”), small (at least 3”), flat and round, and also incorporated branches in the weaving process.
