Mahjong 101

Lunch: 12:00-1:00pm | Presentation: 1:00-2:30pm

Curious about Mahjong but have no idea where to start? Come hang out with 603 Mahjong for a fun and easygoing introduction to American Mahjong!

In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll go over the basics of the game, from getting to know the tiles and the 2026 National Mah Jongg League card to learning how to build a hand, make plays, and actually get a game going. No Mahjong experience needed! Just bring yourself, your questions, and a willingness to learn something new. We’ll keep things casual, interactive, and (of course!) a little competitive.

Mahjong is the perfect mix of strategy, socializing, and friendly competition, and it’s a great way to meet new people and add a fun new hobby to your rotation. 603 Mahjong is all about making mahjong approachable, social, and fun for everyone. Your instructor is a certified Mahjong instructor through Oh My Mahjong, and we can’t wait to introduce you to the game!

Come see what all the Mahjong hype is about and you might just leave with a new favorite hobby!
