This 9” x 6” piece is inspired by the “Hanged Man” tarot card, and Oblique Strategies by Brian Eno and Brian Schmidt.
The Hanged Man signifies a period of stepping back and contemplation. Making sense of the world around him, from a different perspective. Oblique Strategies gave me the prompt “Repetition” and thus, this was born.
It is mixed media, mostly watercolor and gouache, with chalk pastel and acrylic varnish, on watercolor paper.
