Do you want to explore the world in search for magnificent wildlife? Are you ready to create art that represents the amazing qualities of animals? From the stripes and spots of cats, to the brilliant colors of butterflies and birds, student artist will find distinctive ways to use wildlife as inspiration for their work. Various mediums from clay, paint, and fabric, to mixed media and collage will be used to go on an animal adventure that covers the globe. It’s an art safari!
July 16th – July 20th
Have you ever wanted to step into the worlds of your imagination? Well for one week only the land of Kimball Jenkins magically turns into the realms of fantasy, fairy tales, and science fiction. Come experience fairies flying and princesses exploring beautiful enchanted forests. Witness gallant knights and fearless dragons do battle. See wizards casting magic spells while young Jedi discover the Force. From alien lifeforms to creatures from ancient myths, to exploring the haunted mansion, many magical worlds await you. Enjoy a week of costume making and art projects inspired by your imagination! Fantasy Week honored as a Best of by New Hampshire Magazine.
July 23rd – July 27th
Come explore the art studios at Kimball Jenkins School of Art! In this week students get to try out a variety of art styles and mediums. From painting and drawing, to sculpture and ceramics, try out printmaking, collage, and mixed media art. You will get to expand your knowledge and creative abilities as artist and you will be amazed at the masterpieces you will be creating during this week of studio art. Get ready to become a great artist!
Harry Potter Week
July 30th – August 3rd
Let’s celebrate the world of Harry Potter! In this week we learn about art and the craft of being a wizard. From fantastic creatures to magic spell books, you will honor the great wizards and houses of the world of Harry potter through art and the creation of magic objects. You are no Muggle as we turn the Estate of Kimball Jenkins into Hogwarts. Get your wand and prepare for adventure!
Comics and Manga Week
August 6th – August 10th
Are you ready to bring amazing superheroes and cartoons to life! In this week students learn how to draw and create their own comics and cartoons. From Super Heroes to Disney princesses, as well as Minecraft, Pokemon, and Star Wars characters, we will have fun creating in a week of celebrating the amazing animation, crazy cartoons, manga and heroic comics we all love. Are you ready for the adventure true believers? Well let’s go! Let’s draw!
Great Artist Week
August 13th – August 17th
Be the next great artist! In this week the students get to explore and learn about the masterpieces of the artist we all admire like Monet, Pollock, Van Gogh, O’Keeffe, and Picasso. Different mediums will be introduced, as well as different art forms and styles. The work of the masters will guide young artist to improve their artistic abilities and learn about the amazing world of art. From paint to clay and everything in between, students will get to have fun creating wonderful art that celebrating the great artist we all know and love. If you ever wanted to paint and draw like the masters then this is the week for you!

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Members $235 per week
Non-members $255 per week
Will we be working with clay?
Students will complete a minimum of 2 clay projects every week.
How do I register?
The Kimball-Jenkins office is open for registration weekdays from 9 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Please call 225-3932 or stop by our campus at 266 N. Main Street to register!
Registration is ongoing as long as space is available.
I work until 5:00, but the program ends at 3:00. Are there any after camp activities?
Yes! Kimball-Jenkins offers after camp supervision from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM, for an additional $40 a week or $10 per day.
Before-care can also be arranged beginning at 8 AM. $5 per day or $20 per week.
Arrangements for before or after-care should be made through the office prior to the start of the week.
Will my 6 year old be in the same class as 13 year olds?
No! Each week has a common theme, but the camp is divided by age group so that the projects and instruction will be age appropriate, challenging, and fun. Instructors will tailor the program to individual students as much as possible, depending on their previous artistic experience. Children must have already been enrolled in a full-day kindergarten or first grade program.
What does my child need to bring?
Your child should wear clothes they don't mind getting wet or dirty. A bag lunch (refrigeration is available), sunscreen and any medication he or she might need.
