Tuesdays • May 5 - June 2 | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Ages: Attendee must be between 6 and 9 years of age
This carefree watercolor class is designed to help kids explore art in a fun, low-pressure environment. We will also play with mixed media, as outlining with acrylic markers will make the paintings pop. This can be done with black or other dark colors. Also, we will be using white acrylic markers.
Each week, children will paint, experiment with color, and build confidence through hands-on creative play. The focus is on imagination, self-expression, and enjoying the process.
Supplies:
- Watercolor paper (140 lb recommended)
- Watercolor paints (child-friendly)
- Posca (or other brand) acrylic markers
- At least 1 black and 1 white 1–2 round watercolor brushes (medium size is great)
Optional (Nice to Have):
- Art apron or old shirt
- Plastic folder or portfolio for artwork
- Pencil for light sketching
- Supplies do not need to be expensive - kid-friendly, washable paints work perfectly. Messy fun is part of the learning process!
Ages 6-9: $110.00
