Volunteer Opportunities

Kimball Jenkins is a small but mighty community organization thanks to the enormous help of many volunteers. You too can help by joining a committee, serving on our Board of Directors, gardening, or lending a hand to set up at events.

There is always more to do than what we have time for, and we are so thankful for our many skilled volunteers who help make the magic of this organization possible.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Kids Create Tent at the Leauge of NH Craftsmen's Fair

This year, Kimball Jenkins is hosting the Kids Create tent at the League of NH Craftsmen's 93rd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair from August 1-9, 2026 and we are looking for 3 volunteers to help each day. We welcome volunteers ages 16+ - perfect for high school students needing to fulfill community service hours.

The Kids Create Tent contains a variety of Creation Stations featuring hands-on activities like printmaking, fiberart, mixed media, and jewelry making for kids of all ages to explore. Rest assured, this is not a babysitting job. Parents must accompany their kids in the tent!

With the support of Tent Manager Tori Weatherbee, volunteers will:
  • Engaging with tent visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Checking in tent visitors
  • Collecting redeemed Craft Clues Scavenger Hunt forms and giving out prizes
  • Keeping work stations tidy and stocked
  • Gently guiding kids when they want support creating

All volunteers will receive FREE ADMISSION the day that they volunteer, plus one GUEST DAY PASS (for their use another day or to give to a friend). Please join us at this historic summertime event and help us fuel the next generation of artists!
