America, Signing Off!

This June, Kimball Jenkins is thrilled to welcome back by popular demand, New Hampshire’s celebrated improv troupe Stranger Than Fiction for an evening of comedy and history like you’ve never seen before.

America, Signing Off!
Friday, September 4th
6:30-9:00 pm (7:30 pm performance)
Location: KJ Mansion & Carriage House

We begin the evening with quick-witted short scenes inspired entirely by your suggestions. Following a brief intermission, America, Signing Off!, will surely bring lots of laughs to an original improvised set, inspired by America 250, where some of the lesser-known Founding Fathers gather to debate one audience-suggested line for the soon-to-be-written Declaration of Independence. Will it be brilliant? Ridiculous? Historically questionable? Absolutely.

Want to be part of the fun? Limited tickets are now on sale! Your purchase not only includes admission to the performance but a pre-show dessert grazing table featuring an assortment of confections and decadent bites. Don't miss this interactive experience and purchase your tickets today!

Ticket Price: $42

Tickets go on sale July 1st

Stranger Than Fiction is the Granite State's premier improvisational comedy troupe. Established in the spring of 2004, Stranger Than Fiction strives to provide audiences with shows that rival improv clubs around the world. Their cast is a diverse collection of talented actors and comedians, united by the shared passion to make the world a funnier place.

Liberty and Legacy: Civic Saturday Social

On June 20, 2026, the Concord Historical Society will host “Liberty and Legacy: Civic Saturday Social,” in conjunction with Kimball Jenkins, the Pierce Manse and Concordia Lutheran Church. The event will kick-off the city’s Semiquincentennial Celebrations. This celebration is free-to-the-public and will be held on North Main Street amidst several iconic historic buildings.

Currently, organizers are seeking vendors to participate in the event - food trucks, reenactments, performers in period costumes, etc. Informational tables representing historical organizations, Boy and Girl Scouts, are encouraged.

The event is expected to draw hundreds of local families, history enthusiasts, and regional visitors. By becoming a participant, your organization will support a landmark historic initiative while showcasing your talents in the community.

If you are interested in becoming involved or have further questions, please contact Cindy Foote, Concord Historical Society, cfoote@sps.edu, 603-491-7401.
