Palette Magic & Mixing in Acrylic & Oil with Hannah Cole Dahar (8 weeks) - Spring
Discover the power of color through a streamlined and intentional approach to palette mixing. In this 8-week class, students will explore how to mix color more effectively in both acrylic and oil paint, gaining greater confidence and control over hue, value, and temperature.
The course begins with guided exercises focused on creating two distinct color and value charts, helping students understand how a limited, well organized palette can produce a wide range of results. Students will apply these concepts to a painting of their own design, using contrast, harmony, and color relationships to strengthen their work.
This class is perfect for painters ready to deepen their understanding of color mixing, simplify their palette, and gain greater control over their painting effects.
