This class is intended for Adults (18+).

This class will be focused on working with larger amounts of clay and building bigger pots. Students will increase the amount of clay on their wheel, and exercise their ability to throw wider and taller. This concept will be explored through stacking smaller vessels to create larger pieces as well as throwing quantities of clay three pounds or greater. If you have foundational throwing skills and are ready for a new challenge, this is the class for you! We will explore historical pottery of large shapes and sizes that will inspire our own work. This class is targeted to intermediate throwers but experienced beginners are welcome as well! Tools are provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own set.

One 25 lb. bag of clay included along with glazing supplies and firing fees.
