Holidays at the Estate - A Celebration of the Season

Celebrate the season at Kimball Jenkins Estate. It’s the perfect time to visit, with a rare opportunity to experience our historic campus and mansion’s first floor aglow for the holidays. A wide variety of immersive experiences are offered to guests of all ages. Explore our programming below, and we hope to see you this season!
FREE ADMISSION EVENTS
Explore a variety of complimentary events perfect for all ages. A suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family is welcomed and appreciated. Donations allow us to continue offering quality community events and programming.
Self-Guided Tours
Take a self-guided tour of our illuminated historic campus and Mansion. Designed by The New England Holiday Light Company, our grounds will be aglow with walkway path lighting and hundreds of mini lights, perfect for a fun and festive family evening. Inside, the first floor of our mansion will feature four distinctively decorated rooms dressed for the season.

Winter Wonderland Juried Art Exhibition
Carolyn Sherman, “First Run”
This special exhibition will be on view in the Jill C. Wilson Gallery, located in our historic Mansion, November 29-December 19. Featuring local artists, works will highlight the unique beauty of winter.

The Home Sweet Home Gingerbread Exhibition
December 6-12 | Mansion

Bring the family to this very sweet exhibition of artistic gingerbread creations crafted by community members, organizations, and businesses. In partnership with the Woman’s Club of Concord and the NH Home Builder’s Association, the exhibition on display in our Mansion, will surely bring holiday cheer and the irresistible scent of gingerbread to town.

The Gingerbread Marketplace

Come and celebrate the sweeter things in life. Our Gingerbread Marketplace in partnership with Concord Arts Market, will feature local vendors offering sweet treats and gifts for your holiday shopping. Make sure
to visit the Home Sweet Home Gingerbread Exhibition in our historic Mansion and The Artisan’s Nook before or after visiting the marketplace!
A Visit and Book Signing with Pamela McColl

Author, historian, and vintage book collector Pamela McColl will offer a presentation about the 200+ year history of Twas The Night Before Christmas and discuss her latest book, Wondrous Mrs. Claus. Concord’s own Mr. Aaron is back at Kimball Jenkins to celebrate the holidays! A multi-instrumentalist performer and composer making music and videos for kids and their grown-ups, ages 0-10, Mr. Aaron is always a family favorite! Immediately following Mr. Aaron’s concert, Santa will be arriving to visit with everyone! And be sure to visit the Home Sweet Home Gingerbread Exhibition in our historic mansion while here! Besides the many admission opportunities, Kimball Jenkins will be holding several ticketed/fee based opportunities during the Holidays at the Estate event. All proceeds from the following events will support KJ’s tuition assistance and community outreach programs serving hundreds in our community annually.
What the Dickens

Looking for a fun and festive evening out with family and friends to kick off the holiday season? Join us on Saturday, November 29, 6:30-9:30 pm, as we celebrate Charles Dickens’ holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” in a whole new way!
Stranger Than Fiction, the Granite State’s premier improvisational comedy troupe, will present “What the Dickens” an improv spin on the classic holiday tale. Cold-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge will be visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future - only this time the audience decides how the story goes!

Sugar Plum Fairy Tea

Kimball Jenkins invites you to attend our 2nd annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea, Sunday, November 30, 2025 in our historic Carriage House. A magical holiday event for all ages, the afternoon will feature a scrumptious light lunch catered by Washington Street Cafe, delectable sweets, assorted teas, hot chocolate, an interactive craft activity for the children, and photo opportunities. In addition, all attendees will be treated to a short performance by the Sugar Plum Fairy herself!
Don’t miss this very special opportunity to celebrate the magic of the season with family and friends. Additionally, all proceeds will benefit the Haley Rae Martin Scholarship Fund. The fund assists aspiring teenagers and individuals with class tuition assistance and provides support for community art projects.

KJ’s Jingle and Mingle

Join us for an enchanting evening of celebration, connection, and holiday cheer. Kimball Jenkins is hosting this festive fundraiser to raise vital funds for its scholarship and community outreach programs. Your ticket purchase will assist our organization in continuing to provide over $40,000 annually in tuition assistance and serve hundreds of youth and families through community outreach programming.
Experience our illuminated grounds and interior holiday themed rooms of our historic mansion, visit The Artisan’s Nook, a pop-up shop featuring locally-made fine art and craft items, all while enjoying festive fare, libations, and lively entertainment. Raffles, door prizes, and a silent auction will also be featured.
