This class is thoughtfully designed for students ages 16 and up
Begin learning or expand your skills on painting with Gouache. This course will explore technical aspects of painting with gouache such as, color mixing and theory, blending and layering. These elements will be applied to still life and landscape works. No past painting experience is required but can be beneficial.
What is Gouache? Gouache is similar to watercolors but offers higher pigmentation and has a matte finish on paper. This medium is very versatile as It can be used in a more opaque way or thinned out with water to offer a similar appearance to watercolor.
