Beginning and Continuing Watercolor Painting with Sophia Eastly - Summer (6-8 pm)

Learn or reacquaint yourself with transparent watercolor painting.  Come join us to play with colors, experiment with washes, blending colors, reserving white on paper, and learning how to capture your interpretation of subjects.  Still life, florals, landscapes, water and much more will be explored.  Have fun finding stimulating ways of playing with color and light.  Demonstrations, the steps of a painting, and helpful exercises will be done in each class.  We’ll be referring to Winslow Homer, O’Keefe, Skip Lawrence and others.  Palettes and color theory included.
