Painting Studio, Yellow House

This class is appropriate for all levels of artists. Using a variety of paints and tools to achieve diverse and exciting effects, participants will have fun creating a variety of painted papers in different colors, textures and patterns. These papers will then be cut or torn into pieces and shapes and adhered to a backing in layers to achieve images. This collage technique is versatile and can be used to create a wide range of styles, from abstract compositions to representational imagery.

Throughout the duration of the class, students will be encouraged to continue to experiment with different papers, paints and mark making tools and techniques while creating as many finished collages as they find time for.
