This class is designed for students ages 18+

This course is designed to be an introduction to the various soft-sculpting techniques used in making puppets. We will cover the basics in sculpting foam, make a live hand & rod puppet and an advanced sock puppet.

During this 5-week course, we will build puppets and explore basic performance techniques, along with techniques to help make objects come to life. We will also discuss many styles of puppetry from all over the world.

Supplies are provided by instructor. There is a supply fee of $30 per student that is included in the cost of this class.
