This intermediate class is thoughtfully designed for students ages 18 and up who have already taken Natalie Lessard’s Intro to Drawing class

In this 5-week continuing class, we will explore the medium of colored pencil. We will touch on value and color theory, identifying color in everyday subjects and how to work with that, blending, shading, contrast, etc. Basic drawing skills are required, as we will not be reviewing them in this class.

Supplies:

  • Glue-bound Sketch Pad (9×12)

  • Pencil Sharpener 

  • Prisma Color Premier Colored Pencils - 24 pack (must include the following colors: Indigo Blue, True Blue, Cerulean Blue, Dark Green, Grass Green, True Green, Apple Green, Canary Yellow, Orange, Poppy Red, Crimson Red, Pink, Violet, Violet Blue, Black, Tuscan Red, White, Peach, Sienna Brown, Dark Brown, Mulberry, Spanish Orange, Parma Violet, and Goldenrod)
