Join us for this special one-day workshop and learn how to create a unique little bound book! We will cover our 3” x 4” board bases with decorative papers, trim to size, measure, and punch the holes for binding, and learn an easy slip knot binding that allows your pages to open flat. We will talk about ways to embellish the pages, which students can complete after the workshop.

New KJ faculty Deb Brown will provide a variety of papers to cover your boards in a neutral palette similar to the middle book in the picture.  If you have any special papers you want to incorporate with some of the provided pages or use a color way of your own, you are welcome to bring them.  Just make sure each one is at least 3 1/2” x 4 1/2”. There are a total of 20 sides.  So 20 papers are needed - they can all be different!
