Printmaking Studio, Yellow House

This workshop is thoughtfully designed for students ages 16 and up

Cyanotype has been a popular form of printmaking using UV reactive salts, creating a beautifully rich blue image. This was the same process that created the old Blueprints. Students will learn how to use Cyanotype along with transparencies and an Inkjet Printer to create beautiful blue Photoprints. We will go over how to create negatives digitally and print them on transparency, prepare the Cyanotype chemicals and materials for print, and how to dial in the process to get the results you want.

No supplies needed for this workshop - instructor will supply all materials.
